My oldest daughter Charity and two nephews
I live in Northern Virginia with four beautiful women. My wife Treche and daughters Faith, Hope, and Charity keep me living in a girl’s world. I am a blessed man.
My wife Treche works at Fauquier Hospital. Charity is a Biology major at James Mason University. Hope is preparing to be a teacher with a missions minor at Valley Forge Christian College. Faith attends Liberty High School.
After graduating with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from North Central University in 1986 I spent twenty one years serving two churches in youth ministry. I founded Cutting Edge Ministries in which I presently serve as a board member. God has granted me the opportunity to have spoken and to have conducted outreaches in fifteen countries. Currently I am the pastor of a brand new church in Haymarket, Virginia called The Sound.
You might ask why the title of my blog is barphrippy’s?
When I was a boy my teacher had our class create an anagram using the letters in our names. I spent some time mixing up the letters using my first and last name thus creating my alter ego barphrippys. It sort of represents my deconstructed existence. You might say, ”Barry Phipps in-the-mix or simply the mixed up Barry Phipps.”
This blog will be a mix of my random thoughts and intersts while most likely revealing the fact I am truly mixed up. In any case I will be posting about whatever I find interesting from the Bible, politics, living, ice cream, shark attacks (well maybe not)…whatever strikes me as worth scribbling down in cyberspace.

I am praying for you to continue to be open to what the HOLY SPIRIT has in store for you… I loved the story about the little red head girl telling you to share the story of Jesus..
